Do you love Scottish folk music traditions as much as we do? Join us in 2025 for an 11 day tour of some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. We’ll be leading the tour August 25-September 4, 2025.
Passerine will be hosting the tour in collaboration with Scotland Folk Tours. During the days local guides will show us some of the sights in their beautiful country. In the evenings we’ll enjoy private concerts with local Scottish musicians.
Our particular tour is titled “Beyond the Borders” and will explore some of the lesser known parts of the country. The tour will begin in the beautiful town of Stirling, equidistant between Glasgow and Edinburgh. From there we will travel to the village of Peebles and then down to the border area and the Lakes District in England. (You can see more details of the itinerary here.).

How much will it cost? The tour is $3,300 (double room, double-occupancy) or $3,800 if you want a single room, single occupancy. The price includes all hotels, transportation (except from the airport to the meeting place in Stirling), breakfasts, 3 group dinners, and all the evening music. We’ll be offering a couple of nights ourselves, but mostly we’ll be seeing local musicians.
Booking is handled by Scotland Folk Tours. A deposit of $500 is all that is required to hold your spot. Seats on the bus are limited so you’ll want to book soon.
