Back from Scotland, just in time for a mini-tour of western North Carolina.

This will be an interesting summer for Passerine, as we go from the Three Sisters of Glen Coe (Scotland) in June to the Blue Ridge Mountains in July. They told us there was a “heat wave” in Scotland, but it was lovely– as Scotland always is. We did have a somewhat unusual adventure this trip. On the Isle of Skye, David had the opportunity to see how the National Health Service could handle a broken ankle. (They were brilliant.). Initially, we weren’t too sure we would be allowed to escape Florida for North Carolina in July, but it turned out David will be hobbled but not homebound in July.

We are excited. We have a lot of friends in the area, and we know there will be great audiences.
